Can you believe the first term of the year already over!
So much has happened, it feels like we (the THF Team) are done with the year already. I would like to thank you for your support and please feel free to contact us if you want to get involved in any way, and send the link of the blog to you friends and family and share the good news of what the Lord is doing the life's of the needy.

| We were privileged to be able to donate 200+ scientific calculators to a local High School, the school principal was so happy! They were given to the Grade 11 and 12 who are doing pure Maths. The majority of them did not have and they had to share or borrow. (Little things that some of us take for granted go a long way for other people) |

The after-care program have started with a bang! Enjoying the kids very much, this year we have between 80 to 100 kids coming for after-care.

I had the big privilege to meet Shane Claiborne, a well know speaker and writer. One of the books he wrote is "Irresistible revolution"... I was very inspired by his humility...
Afriboom held a fun day with the after-care kids. It was the team building event for Afriboom's staff. What a lovely day for the kids! They even got medals for completing the game circuit. Thank you, Afriboom, for a lovely, well-planned event.

Here we are showing the teenagers from last year's THF musical (called "Journey to the Creator") the dvd that was made of them performing on stage. What an amazing experience to see themselves on the stage. I truly believe dreams came true through this amazing event and hope was ignited.

We recently had our third group of American missionaries who are doing missionary work at THF after-care. What a wonderful experience to learn about each other's cultures and to break boundaries. The kids enjoy their visit very much, and it even improves their English language. Looking forward to meeting the next group.

| Every time we take the Americans for a tour through our township (Olievenhoutbosch). They have to also taste the local bunny chows, called "spathlo". They love it and want to take it back to the States with them ;-) |
