This is were we are now!
We had the privilege to go and play soccer and netball against Zwartkop Christian School, the only mistake which our soccer boys made is thinking they were going to win easily because they were playing against white kids ;-) ... they have learned a big lesson which they are not going to forget quickly. However, they have done well and they enjoyed the day very much. We hope to have more opportunities like this in the future for them to go and play outside our township and on proper grass :-)

One of our projects which is growing tremendously is our feeding scheme. We feed more than 100 kids a day Monday to Friday. Every Friday we feed more than 50 families. We are hoping to get more sponsors to be able to keep it sustainable...

Students came to do their fieldwork for the compulsory undergraduate module, Community-Based Project, of the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology of the University of Pretoria. It a amazing how much the kids enjoy the educational games which they painted for us on our pavements....

Thank you very much to these enthusiastic, creative students! |
I had the privilege of hosting a camp for Danville teens, just realising a gain poverty does not have color. It is a challenge in every community.
A project close to my heart!!! We have adopted 5 day-care centres close to where we have the after-care centre. Once a month we send our grade 3 and 4 learners to go and reach out to them. They take toys, books etc for them, while also playing some games with the kiddies. We try to teach our children to not only receive, but to give as well. The result is that our learners grow up with the values of care and generosity as part of their value system.
Every 3 months we have the privilege of receiving American missionaries. They join us in our everyday program, spending most of their days in the township. They are such a blessing to both the kids and the staff!

We close the term by doing something special to the kids, this year we did an educational drama for them. We also end off every term by celebrating the children's birthdays for the term.

We did some gambost dance, which the kids enjoyed very much :-) |
